What We Believe
Our one God is three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:13-17, Matthew 28:18-20).
Jesus is the only hope for the world and the only way to everlasting life (Acts 4:12, John 14:6).
The Old & New Testament Scriptures are the inspired word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21).
The Scriptures guide our lives as we follow God (Psalm 119:105, James 1:23-25).
Followers of Jesus live for Him each and every day, serving Him out of love (Luke 4:8, John 14:15).
Followers of Jesus meet every Sunday to sing, pray, give, study, and serve open communion (Hebrews 10:24-25, Acts 20:7).
The Gospel is God's power to save (Romans 1:16-17, I Corinthians 15:1-4).
How God tells us to receive the gift of salvation:
Hear and Know the Truth of Jesus (Romans 10:17, John 8:32).
Believe in Jesus as the Son of God (John 8:24; 20:31; Hebrews 11:6).
Turn away from/repent of our sins (Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30, 2 Corinthians 7:9-10).
Confessing Faith in Christ (Romans 10:10, Matthew 16:16).
Be baptized into Christ to die and be raised with Him. Allowing Christ to wash us gives us freedom from sin (Romans 6:1-7; Acts 2:38, 22:16).
